Option 1: Steam Community Market
- Fee: about 15% of the sale price (Steam fee plus the game fee).
- Money goes to your Steam wallet only — you cannot withdraw it as cash.
- Good if you want to buy other games or items on Steam.
Option 2: P2P marketplaces
On peer-to-peer markets you sell directly to other players, and the site holds the payment until the trade is done. Seller fees are much lower than on Steam and you can withdraw real money.
- DMarket — seller fee from about 2% (higher for low-liquidity items), buyers pay 0%. Money from sales is locked for 7 days before withdrawal.
- LIS-SKINS — seller fee about 5–6%, buyers pay 0%, fast crypto withdrawals.
- Waxpeer — seller fee about 6%, buyers pay 0%, withdrawals to PayPal or Steam balance.
Option 3: Bot trading and instant sell
Bot sites buy your skins instantly or swap them for other skins. It is the fastest way, but instead of a fixed fee you pay through the price difference (the site buys a bit below and sells a bit above market).
- Tradeit.gg — one of the biggest bot inventories for instant swaps.
- SkinSwap — instant trades and instant-sell offers.
Tips to get the best price
- Check the price of the same skin on 2–3 markets before listing it.
- For expensive skins, check float and pattern — they can change the price a lot.
- Look at payout methods, minimum withdrawal and KYC rules before you sell.
- Fees change over time — always confirm them on the site.
